So for the second day in a row we made a trip to valley children's this time for makenna. She had to go to the Scoliosis clinic for her back. Turns out she has two curves in her back check out the picture. She will need to go every 6 months for check-up and she will have to do some physical therapy. The doctor says it is common because she grew so fast. She is just getting to big for her own good :) Nothing but worry for us moms and dads.

Ok so guess what we did today....Emilie had bad stomach cramps this morning and the school nurse thought it was her appendix...so we rushed to the doctor who then sent us to Valley children's and thank God  she was just constipated..or at least that is what they said. We are still supposed to keep an eye out for any signs in the next couple of days...but for now she is TOTALLY fine.

While we were visiting Grandma Neenee our friends were also visiting family in the area so we met up for lunch....splash cafe of course. This is a picture of us at the beach and a picture of their kids Jeramy and Kennah which the girls have been friends with since preschool. We love these kids and their parents Steve and Jeanene....see that baby that's Alyvia I was there when she was born...very cool. I love her. Steve's Parents are also in the picture. It was a nice lunch

Ok so I am not so good on the updates....Things are busy around here. Makenna gets braces next week and has to start physical therapy on her back. She has two curves in her back that have to be adjusted. Plus christmas parties and christmas shopping........tis the season. Looking forward to the time spent with family. I can't wait to see everyone.

Ok so I am completely into these books that my niece Katie bugged me to read. They are sooooo gooood. The movie comes tonight at midnight and I am going to see it, with a brunch of other crazed moms who have read it. I am going to need coffee. Anyway here is the synopsis...it's an action-packed, love story between a teenage girl named Bella and a Vampire named Edward.....who doesn't hunt people but animals instead...interested yet..check out the website....if anything the books are a fun read

growing kids

Ok so looking at the pictures we took this weekend really stunned me. I know my kids are older now. But I wasn't prepared for how old they look in the pictures...it was an awakening. You know that country song "Your gonna miss this".....I do, so slow down today and chat with your kids......... you can't get today back

what a great day

My family was here this weekend. We had a full house. My Brother even came! That was a treat. Naomi and Emilie were the best of friends....she enjoys being around the kids so much, my little caretaker. Emi had once told me when she grows up she wants to be a mom...I told her she has to go to college first. I will have picture soon to share...stay posted

This last October I decided, actually Juli convinced me to RUN, yes I said RUN, in the NW1/2M in San Francisco. That would be 13.1 miles on hills. So we trained and trained and the trained some more. And you know the actual run was not difficult, it was the standing around waiting to find everyone that was torture. This is a picture of all of us who raced together. Gina, Katie, Juli, Me, and Bert

If you look real close you can see my name

This is the results from my first 1/2 marathon.

It was so nice to have all of my family there to support and cheer me on. It made my experience so memorable. Thank you to everyone who came!
